I discovered my first idol and hero at a very young age. I first saw him one summer morning in 1954 or 1955 on the silver screen in a noisy kid filled neighborhood theater. It was the first time my brother and I had been dropped off at the movie to spend the first of many such Saturdays watching shoot-um-ups and war flicks. (You could let your kids go to the movie alone back then). The first thing that always ran was a Movietone News reel. The voice of the narrator was deep and had so much authority behind it that you knew everything he said was nothing more that the gospel truth when it came to the news of the world. On this memorable Saturday the lead-in story was one on the exploits of Admiral Richard E. Byrd on his latest trip to Antarctica called Operation Deepfreeze. The first time I saw him he looked 10 feet tall up there on that screen. First came a shot of him standing ramrod straight, looking off across the endless nothing; that strong prominent jaw of his set in determination. Then came a clip of him on board ship pointing out across the white plain telling his men what to do in preparation for the trip with total control and confidence in what he wanted done. In the next shot he was leaning into the bone-freezing wind as he struggled along - just to walk - yet he was steadily making progress forward into that cold, scary, dark unknown of the mysterious white continent.
Then to wind the report up he was shown leaving the camp area on a dog sled -all alone. Just him and his dog team heading out into the unknown. Now, that was real adventure. I knew at that moment that without a doubt he'd conquer the mysterious continent single-handedly if that's what it took. (Of course It never dawned on me that someone was operating the camera and taking the movie so he couldn't be totally 'alone.')
The rest of the films featured on the play bill that day didn't mean much after seeing the real-life Admiral Byrd as he headed off to conquer the last frontier. Oh sure, Randolph Scott was cool. But Admiral Richard E. Byrd was cooler. . . . In more ways than one!
From that point on I read everything I could get my hands on regarding the Admiral and his exploits in the polar regions. I would lay under a tree in the back yard reading one of the books about him and I'd feel at times that I was with him on the mysterious continent at the bottom of the world. Those times were a lot more innocent. Little did I know back in the early 1950s, while reading and enjoying the high adventures of the Admiral, that more sinister happenings were going on in the Land of Everlasting Mystery; secret stuff that continues until this day. But that's another story. Or is it?
~~~
Anyway, years later, in the 1980s and 1990s, when I was doing my hollow earth research I ran into this man's man again while following the facts and rumors surrounding the Admiral's involvement with the hollow earth theory.
Some of my research from this period is available on this site.
I'm getting a bit off subject, but what's new about that with me, right?
Anyway, here is an update.
By far the most popular report on the THEI site is,
Admiral Byrd's 1939 Antarctic And the Mysterious Snow Cruiser.
Admiral Byrd's 1939 Antarctic And the Mysterious Snow Cruiser.
The article has had 31874 page views since we posted it on June 6th, 2001. The article also holds an as-of-yet unbroken record of 427 page hits in a single day. That being the most hits in a day of any page on my site. The event happened on February 23 2008 because of a link to it from another extremely popular Blog. For all of you who have read and enjoyed that report; Update: Here is a rare video of the Snow Cruiser on its well publicized run across the United States. Enjoy!
Back on track:
Although the Admiral spent time at both poles, and although I studied the Antarctic quite extensively, I never really got around to eyeballin' the northern polar regions very closely. . . . Except for a constant sharp lookout and ear-strain searching for any evidence of a way to contact the Co-Planetarians; Possibly through some kind of opening at the mysterious, unexplained area around the vicinity of all the different north poles?
As of yet in my quest for information or documentation on this possible hole-at-the-pole anything of significance seems to be as elusive as Sasquatch. I've neither seen nor heard any revelations from that quarter. Even so, my vigilance continues.
NUKE ATTACKS?
So when I was sent the story about the possibility of Nine Arctic Nukes Exploded in Eighteen Hours I checked the longitudes and latitudes of the alleged fireworks. Once I realized that they were all located within the perimeters of my friend, the late Steve Curry's findings for the probable location for the hole-at-the-pole which he insisted is located at or near 84.4 N Latitude, 141 E Longitude I also realized that I had a big, major problem. Nukes being exploded in the north polar region seemed far fetched to me. More than likely a hoax. But right at that moment I didn't had time to check for a second source so my first thought was that I really should just leave it alone.
But then I realized that if I didn't report it and sometime in the near or far off future the hole-at-the-pole is proven to be a true fact and there HAD been a confrontation between outer Men and the inner Co-Planetarians on those fateful days of November 17th and 18th in 2008 that I'd look like a complete ass.
I know to most of you this is all very farfetched. But look at it from my point of view. It that WERE the case then the cold hard fact was that I would have ignored the story of the century. Hollow Earth proponents had long been trying to prove the existence of an inner world peopled by Co-Planetarians and now it was known to be fact. It would ruin me. I'd go down in history as the Hollow Earth researcher/publisher who didn't even have the foresight to report an attack by the controllers on the Co-Planetarians at the very entrance to their interior lands. So no. I couldn't let that happen! THEY weren't going to 'swift boat' me!
So I decided to run with the first EXTRA THEI has ever issued;
WAR WITH THE INSIDE CO-PLANETARIANS?
(It should be noted that I did include the
(It should be noted that I did include the
Ray Palmerish question mark to give me an out.)
Well I'm happy to report that I now know I made the right decision. Whether the controllers are actually staging some sort of action against the alleged Under-people at the gateway to heaven (or hell, depending on your way of thinking) is still an unknown. Just as the fact of whether they even existence is still an unknown. However, this latest event turned my eyeballs towards the Land beyond the Pole. And in that closer look I find that things of significance are definitely going on up there. And from the information available . . . . Well Charlie, to put it bluntly, it ain't pretty.
Let's look at the facts.
There is documented government proof that there were actually 10 reported instances of something which caused high seismology readings in the Arctic Ocean on November 17th and 18th 2008. From the USGS web site here is the official Preliminary Reports of the seismic activity in the arctic ocean with links to each individual incident. This page is where the USGS reports all worldwide seismic activity for the last 30 days. In a search of the complete 30 days of listings they have posted I found not another single instance of any seismic activity in the Arctic Ocean at all. Nana. Nothing. I'd bet-ya a Federal Reserve Note that if someone searched the seismic records back even further they will have the same result.
Without doubt SOMETHING happened in the north polar region that caused these readings. And from what I've seen so far seismic activity is not a common happening in that area of the world. Where's the coverage from the alphabet TV networks? Where's Geraldo Rivera? What gives?
It seems like someone would have picked up on the fact that the area of these seismic disturbances are NOT located along a fault line. According to a report titled Earthquake Belts posted at Digital Geology. com: About 95 per-cent of the energy released by earthquakes originates in a few relatively narrow zones. (Fig. 25) sometimes referred to as the Ring of Fire.
The Arctic Ocean is not located anywhere near these fault zones nor is that area of the earth seismically unstable. As you can see by looking at the map included on the web page that area of the world is not even on Digital Geology's map showing the exact locations of these few narrow zones.
Another thing easy to prove or disprove. The sets of seismographs in question do not follow the normal pattern. Once again looking at the USGS website posting of world wide seismic activity I could not find a single cluster of high magnitude peaks of seismic activity such as these listed for anywhere in the world either in the Ring of Fire or outside of it. If the cluster in the Arctic is common then there should be other similar outbreaks of a large number of high magnitude earthquakes in a short time in the records. However, the pattern of activity is complete out of the box.
When there is a slippage of the earth along one of her fault lines the tremors follow a pattern which does not include a series of major quakes in a cluster. Sure there is a mixture of small and high magnitude readings during the time mother earth adjusts her undies. But almost always during any major shifting of the continental plates the complete cycle of shockwaves consists of many small aftershocks with just a couple of larger quakes mixed in to keep the victims on their toes. But 10 high magnitude quakes in the same small area in a row! No way! That looks odd even to a layperson such as I. We have all been in or seen reports on earthquakes from around the world. It happens. Then come the after-shocks. Most of then of a small magnitude, not that that doesn't scare the hell out of you! Your mind plays tricks on you and you think it's all starting over. But usually these after shocks come at further and further intervals with diminishing severity as the movement of the plates settle down against each other relieving the accumulated pressure and adjust themselves.
Then the process starts anew as pressure begins to build up again. Never have you, nor I, ever heard of 10 high magnitude earthquakes hitting anywhere on earth at the same place in such a short period of time. If that ever happened in a populated area mega bucks would be made off of the books and movies. I've never heard of such a Catastrophe Not even in California.
That being the case we must look at the next possibility. Lets find out what history can tell us. I've found in my research over the years that the controllers might control all the money in the world plus the knowledge we receive from their controlled schools and the media/entertainment industries but as a whole, they really don't have much of an imagination and are totally arrogant. They use the same tactics over and over. Most of us are just too busy maintaining a life and looking out for our own loved ones to have time to notice.
In the case of possible nuke bombings in the arctic region I quickly found that there is indeed precedent. There have been these type of seismic readings before, for instance, on August 1 1997. And, get this. At that time it was suspected that the Russians had set off a nuke. The CIA even investigated!
ON AUGUST 16, several seismological monitoring stations in northern Europe detected a seismic event in the vicinity of the Russian nuclear test site at Novaya Zemlya. The Washington Times reported on August 28 that some U.S. officials suspect the event may have been caused by a low-yield nuclear explosion. . . .
And that's only the tip of the iceburg so to speak. As I dug deeper the information became gloomier. Unbeknown to most of us it looks as though we could - right now - be on a fast track to a full fledged war in the far north. And those countries who border this mysterious and mostly untapped area of our planet are quietly gearing up for it. In the mean time the inter-connected controllers in many countries are secretly planning and working toward the future exploitation of the untold billions to be made from the rich resources of the area including oil, gold, fresh water and even diamonds. And to make matters worst - if that's possible - I found that Russia has been using the northern polar regions as a nuclear waste dump for years!
The clouds of war are gathering at the top of the world and the treasures of the North Polar region are up for grabs. Of course the globalist are already on the fast track of acquisition.
Note to self: Need to do fresh research on the similarities between recent UFO flap and the flaps of the late 40s and 50s. I'm almost positive that what brought the 1947 sightings on had something to do with the United States nuclear testing at the time. Could the goings on including this nuclear activity at the North Pole possible be the cause of so much recent UFO activity?
God save us from the Vikings!
Back years ago when researching and writing about Christmas in a report entitled, He Came from Beyond the Pole I wrote;
For some reason I feel it hypocritical to talk of "peace and goodwill towards man"during a time when the true reason for the Norsemen's Yule-feast was originally a holiday to celebrate the culmination of a profitable season of rape, murder and pillage in distant lands. Lands where the populace could little defend themselves other than to pray to God to "save us from the Vikings" - stay alert - and run like hell when the long boats arrived on their shores. From this celebration came the Yule log, the use of evergreen decorations and even the Christmas feast itself.
[Those of you who choose to follow the link to the above be forewarned that there is a problem with punctuation that makes it a little difficult to read. We plan on fixing that when we revamp the whole website in the future. In the mean time our only option was to delete the report all together or let our readers struggle through it. We chose to let you struggle. Sorry.]
Now it's another Christmas season and I find it ironic to be reporting on another group of modern day Vikings who are engaged in an escalating effort to rape mother earth and strip away all of the treasures she has hidden away in the far north. And possably - WAR. Sound paranoid? Read on.
Call me weird but for the last two television seasons I have made sure I taped and then watched every segment of the History Channel's Ice Road Truckers. And that was the only regular weekly program I watched last year. I mean if you ask me why a grown man will give up an hour of his life every week to watch a bunch of guys drive 18 wheelers at about 30 miles an hour back and fourth up and down an ice road I'd have no reasonable answer. The trip itself, which became a weekly ritual, was about as scenic as a drive across a frozen Sahara. And the fascination of watching a bunch of men drive trucks for an hour totally eludes me. But I did watch it faithfully and enjoyed every minute of it. Go figure.
If there was one thing I came away from the series with it was that there has got to be one hell of a lot of money being made off those arctic oil fields to make the barons willing to front what it must cost to haul in, then set up those rigs; only to tear them back down again and haul then back off the ice in the summer. And they do it year after year! Of course the extraction of fossil fuel from the rich oil and gas deposits that are hidden deep within the polar underground has been going on since the 1960s, particularly from Prudhoe Bay on the north slope of Alaska. And as was shown on the History Channel series, Ice Road Truckers, the seven sisters are moving their operations further and further out onto the Arctic Ocean itself. But oil isn't the only treasure hiding at the top of the world by a long shot.
Arctic Diamonds (1)
I found a very informative report in the December 2008 hard-copy issue of Wired magazine, Ice, Ice, Baby: The Search for Arctic Diamonds, by Carl Hoffman.
I found a very informative report in the December 2008 hard-copy issue of Wired magazine, Ice, Ice, Baby: The Search for Arctic Diamonds, by Carl Hoffman.
The report is a very detailed story on the life and exploits of Chuck Fipke undoubtedly the worlds foremost expert on locating possible unknown diamond fields. I highly recommend that you get your hands on the magazine and read the complete report. When it comes to adventure and the search for riches in some of the most unexplored and dangerous places in the world Indiana Jones is nothing more than a movie usher when compared to Chuck Fipke. According to the article Fipke graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in geology in 1970. His first job was with Kennecott Copper. His first assignment was to join an expedition in search of gold and copper in Papua New Guinea. From there, as reported by Carl Hoffman;
After stunts in the Amazon, Australia, and South Africa, Fipke opened a mineral separation laboratory in British Columbia in 1977. A year later, Superior Oil , hired him to go back into the field - to look not for metals but gems.
Superior Oil is now a subsidiary of ExxonMobil. It must be noted that "The Exxon Mobil Corporation, or ExxonMobil, is an American oil and gas corporation and a direct descendant of John D. Rockefeller's Standard Oil company." Source - Wikipedia. (Old John D. again. Small world ain't it.)
Fipke had by this time become the worlds expert on locating kimberlite pipes. A place where diamonds are sometimes but not often found. As Hoffman reported;
the company wanted someone to go look for kimberlite pipes northwest of Fort Collins, Colorado. . . . He found half a dozen, but like 98 percent [of them worldwide] they didn't contain diamonds. . . .
Not commercial quality diamonds anyway. But he knew that deep in the ground, and following a path under the Rocky Mountains towards the north was a large craton, a thick old chunk of continental plate where diamonds form.
Fipke took on a partner and decided that their best bet was to search upstream just as in gold mining. "By 1981, the two men were sampling the ground in Canada." He spent the next ten years surveying and sampling; always continuing to follow the craton north. Then at a spot "a few hundred miles outside the Arctic Circle" Fipke finally found what he was seeking. In 1991 he went public with his find. As a direct result of Fipke's years of research and field work Canada has become the third largest supplier of gem quality diamonds in the world.
It stands to reason that if the world's expert in diamond location followed a trail north from Colorado to within "a few hundred miles outside the arctic circle" that if you followed the signs further north you would probably find more diamond fields.
(1) Source: All of the information concerning Chuck Fipke and his quest for diamonds including those highlighted as quotes in this section came from the December 2008 issue of Wired hard-copy magazine, The Search for Arctic Diamonds by Carl Hofmann. I highly recommend that you search for the complete article and read it in its entirety. It's a unique article in that not only is it informative but it's an exciting and highly entertaining read!
Gold
With the large deposits of gold found at the turn of the 19th century during the Alaskan and Klondike gold Rushes it stands to reason that there are rich deposits further north under the Arctic Ocean. Although I could not find any current information on Gold in the Arctic, my search did turn up this extreamly interesting newspaper report from 1915:
NEW LAND OF GOLD FOUND IN ARCTIC
ESKIMOS HOLD THE SECRET
Oil Also in Abundance in Far North
Copyright 1915 by New York Times
Bringing a tale of a land where gold is more plentiful than it is in Alaska, Christin Leden, a young Swedish explorer, has returned to this city after three years spent in the arctic. As evidence of the truth of his story he has a harpoon head hammered out of gold by the natives . . . (Complete newspaper article)
This New York Times newspaper report is a good piece of information to find on several fronts. Not only did the Swedish explorer claim that there is a "land [far to the north] where gold is more plentiful than it is in Alaska' which suggests that there is larger deposits of gold to be found north of Alaska, but once again - for those of us seeking just such a land - we have an arctic explorer from prior to the days of Admiral Byrd reporting on an elusive mysterious land beyond the pole. A fact that only serves to re-enforce the claims of most of the famous explorers during that period of northern exploration who also left us with testimoney of their own sightings of elusive land in the far north.
Even though gold hasn't been found in modern times as of yet on the artic floor that doesn' mean there isn't a 'Gold Rush' going on in the area. According to an article from BBC posted on October 25th 2005:
Another plus for worldwide traders; destined to become a huge boost to world trade is that the current world-wide warming trend is opening up more waterways in the arctic area so that that the long wished for Northwest Passage has become a reality. Breaking the Ice: Canada and the Northwest Passage
It's been called "the Arctic Grail." For centuries, European explorers were obsessed with the quest for a route around North America to the Orient. Norway's Roald Amundsen finally conquered the Northwest Passage in 1906. But long Arctic winters meant the route couldn't be exploited commercially. Global warming could change all that by melting the ice and making the passage a key shipping route. But as this happens, the controversial question of sovereignty becomes increasingly important. Does the Northwest Passage belong to Canada or the world? (Complete article with informative video)
Did anyone catch this one? The headline from Canada's Global National reads "Protecting Canada's Arctic sovereignty." Protecting it from whom? Well, it turns out Washington was peeved by Ottawa's highly symbolic dispatch of armed icebreakers up to the Northwest Passage, because even token policing of these waters is an expression of at least the theoretical potential for denial of access to US nuclear submarines, which routinely violate Canadian sovereignty there. This informative video report, Arctic Cold War posted on Youtube explains in no uncertain terms the Canadian's feelings.
Shipping, oil, diamonds. The bottom line of course money, power & control. My prediction is that the strongest cabal will end up with all the booty in the end. But for now who will control which part of the arctic must be decided. Dark war clouds are quietly gathering. And all of those problems are between lifetime friends.
So lets insert former enemy-now pal Russia into the simmering stew pot.
As we reported at the beginning of this report the possibility that there was some sort of series of nuclear explosions in the Arctic region on November 17th and 18th is high. At least once before, on August 1st 1997 there were suspicious seismic activity reported in the Arctic area. The CIA investigated the possibility of some type of nuclear explosion set off by the Russians near one of their known nuclear test sites. The Russians denied that; saying it was an earthquake.
CIA panel gives split view on arctic seismic rumbling: Could be earthquake or weapons test
Russia carried out nuclear-weapons experiments at a remote arctic test site around the time a suspicious "seismic event" was detected in August, U.S. intelligence officials said yesterday.
But a panel of experts who reviewed intelligence and seismic reports on the Aug. 16 event told CIA Director George Tenet the rumbling could have been either a non-nuclear explosion or a rare underwater earthquake in the area, said officials who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Whether or not the Russian's blew up nukes on the days indicated needs more study. Unfortunately realizing the long history of the governments of our planet covering stuff up that they don't want us to know we probably never will know the truth. But I did find some real-life problems with Russia and their nuclear programs. Not only have they built nuclear reactors in the arctic sector, but they store all of their nuclear waste in this fragile arctic environment also. Others have looked at the possibility of disaster occurring on the Kola Peninsula, a spot figuring big in Russia's nuclear programs.
One such study looks at the Long-term consequences for Northern Norway of a hypothetical release from the Kola nuclear power plant.
Another study by the Geo-2000 group and part of the Arctic Studies Program on the State of the Environment in the Arctic Region can be found posted on their web page. According to the report, "Military activities and the testing of nuclear weapons have been a major source of radioactive contamination of the Arctic" . . .
The same group also posted a paper on The Nuclear Legacy of the Kola Region: Daily journal report. which is a very eye opening report.
According to a posting at Russia Spy:
Nuclear Dump in Russian Arctic in Danger of Exploding
Excerpts
A nuclear waste dump in the Russia Arctic may be in danger of exploding because of corrosion caused by salt water in enormous storage tanks, the Norwegian environmental group Bellona warned Friday. . . . Experts have said the Kola Peninsula has the world's greatest concentration of nuclear materials, with aging nuclear power plants, rusting hulks of Russian Northern Fleet atomic submarines and waste dumps. . . Removing nuclear waste from the Arctic
The maritime industries are facing an enormous challenge in an international project to clean up the former Soviet Union's principal nuclear dustbin in the Arctic. The work costing billions of dollars in international investment may well begin following intense industrial, scientific and diplomatic activities. It will include a long-term programmed to remove or make safe entire nuclear power plants still containing their deadly fuel dumped by the Soviets in the shallow, fertile waters of the Kara and Barents Seas. Radioactive and Other Hazardous Contamination in Arctic Siberia covered, not only the problem of cleaning up after peaceful nuclear activities but also tackled the dangers of the nuclear military activities of both countries during the cold war. One excerpt we felt we needed to include in this report states;
"During the Soviet era, most information about nuclear explosion tests was classified and no evidence was revealed to the public. In particular, large scale nuclear bomb developments used to be the top priority during the cold war tension between the Soviet Union and the USA. Tremendous numbers of nuclear explosion tests were conducted in various places in Siberia and the territory of Kazakhstan. Not only military purposes but also civil industry such as aircraft manufacturing and heavy metal industries might have consumed a lot of radioactive materials in their production lines detecting internal cracks in the metals. Major concerns on the handling of accidents caused by mishandling radioactive materials were ignored because of the secretive treatment of radioactive materials. During the same period, in the United States there were similar tendencies in the treatment and regulation of radioactive materials. The most urgent task of US defense policy was to achieve military and nuclear superiority over the Soviet Union. Both the Soviet Union and the USA conducted many nuclear bomb tests in the troposphere and the stratosphere and many polluted particles were widely dispersed. Damage was not limited in the nuclear test site; other regions were affected by high radiation of many types of radioactive materials such as 90Sr and 137Cs, which were used in the bombs to strengthen the force of bombs known as "dirty atomic bombs". Major test sites were located at Novaya Zemlya in Barents Sea and Semipalatinsk in Kazakhstan. After the termination of nuclear bomb tests, the ground surface, soil and vegetation were highly contaminated and the level of contamination still does not allow the people to return to their home land. Some estimates warn the causalities caused by radioactive emission in the future will be 5 million in west Siberia, which lies leeward of Novaya Zemlya." The military use of nukes in the northern polar areas has been taken so serious that the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) which according to their web site "serves the DoD community as the largest central resource for DoD and government-funded scientific, technical, engineering, and business related information available today." has posted a Handbook for Nuclear Weapons Effects under Arctic Conditions. Sanitized, which includes studies on:
Then at a meeting of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly on August 9 2004 the problems of Russia's nuclear disaster-waiting-to-happen was addressed out in the open:
NATO PA members express concern over Arctic environment and security of Russian nuclear material
A large part of the seminar was devoted to concerns about nuclear facilities and materials, predominantly those based in Russia. The problems associated with decommissioned Russian nuclear submarines in Murmansk are well known, but others include ageing nuclear power reactors, nuclear waste sites, and as many as 1000 small nuclear power supplies for lighthouses. The security at many facilities is very poor, and environmental protection is limited. The potential impact of an accident at one of these sites or the theft of radioactive material would not be confined to the Arctic. (Complete report)
Russia Rejects Report of Arctic Nuclear Waste Risk
Date: 04-Jun-07Country: NORWAY/RUSSIA
Bellona, a whistleblower on Soviet and Russian nuclear dumping activities, quoted a Rosatom publication as saying that degradation of cement that encases nuclear waste tanks on the Kola peninsula has already allowed salt water to seep in.
It said the salt water was mixing with radioactive rods in tanks at the Andreeva Bay facility, and could set off a chain reaction whose fall-out could spread across northern Europe in a worst-case scenario.
"I can state officially that there have been no situations which might threaten the environment," a Rosatom official told Reuters on Friday. Boehmer, an atomic physicist and head . . . (Complete report)
With more and more information and reports being released on the problems facing the world as the race to rape of the north spirals upward, other voices are calling for restraint;
Let's keep the Arctic free of nukes
EXCERPTS
We are all stakeholders in what happens in the Arctic - environmentally, politically, militarily and in every other way - as the ice cover melts.
Before the modern "gold rush" for oil, gas, diamonds and minerals begins to cause tensions among the eight circumpolar countries - Canada, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Russia, Sweden and the United States - a global regime should be established over the Arctic to mitigate the effects of climate change and for the equitable use of its resources. The editorial above calls for a "Global Regime" to be established. For some reason that doesn’t fit well with me; in fact that idea scares me more than a full-fledged nuke war at the Pole.. Besides we could just set and twiddle our thumbs if that's what we want. I mean as we all know a "Global Regime" is already coming down the pike . . . and not just to have say-so over the arctic territories. Their plan is to rule over far more territory than that.
And as for deterring the Russian government from further experimentation with nuclear energy, no way. They even have a new plan in place.
Floating Nuclear Power Plants In The Arctic
Rosenergoatom is promoting floating nuclear power plants (NPP) for energy supply for Arctic oil-and gas drilling platforms. Instead of using gas to produce electricity for the platform one floating NPP can ensure needed power supply. A promotion brochure from Rosenergoatom details the plans to use the floating NPPs for offshore oil and gas installations in the remote Arctic oceans. . . .The plant will be built as a barge where the core of the nuclear power plant is its KLT-40 reactor. . . . Then the Russians turned the heat up under the simmering pot of stew.
The Guardian, Thursday June 28 2007
It is already the world's biggest country, spanning 11 time zones and stretching from Europe to the far east. But yesterday Russia signalled its intention to get even bigger by announcing an audacious plan to annex a vast 460,000 square mile chunk of the frozen and ice-encrusted Arctic.
According to Russian scientists, there is new evidence backing Russia's claim that its northern Arctic region is directly linked to the North Pole via an underwater shelf.
Under international law, no country owns the North Pole. Instead, the five surrounding Arctic states, Russia, the US, Canada, Norway and Denmark (via Greenland), are limited to a 200-mile economic zone around their coasts. (Complete article)
Of course knowing the history of the way they work this so called planting of their flag on the Arctic Ocean floor could very well be a scam. Check out this interesting Youtube report with a better-than-good argument for just that possibility titled, appropriately enough, The Russian North Pole SCAM.
Other nations, in particular Canada couldn't stand by quietly and let this obvious bullying go unchecked. So, as this Youtube posting reports: CANADA SENDS A STRONG MESSAGE TO THE WORLD!
The rest of the world wasn't ready to give the Russians any congratulations after the sneak attack either. But that didn't faze our former Cold War enemy, one iota. As reported by The TimesOnline on August 4th 2007.
Russia greets flag team 'heroes' as the world condemns Arctic stunt
Excerpts
The explorers who planted the Russian flag beneath the North Pole were given a 'heroes' welcome yesterday in defiance of the international condemnation of Moscow's territorial claims. . . .
. . . Russia's media stoically ignored the mockery, applauding the expedition as the first salvo in what one newspaper referred to as "the battle for Arctic oil". The government daily Rossiiskaya Gazeta went further, hailing the hoped-for rezoning of the Arctic as "the start of a new distribution of the world". (Complete report)
I find the quote "the start of a new distribution of the world" from the Russian propaganda newspaper to be very telling. During my lifetime of studing world history I've noticed that in every instance when some form of government felt it was time for a "new distribution of the world" war was sure to follow.
The arctic is still a vast unknown. There are legends, stories and even unexplained evidence pointing towards the possibility of the presence of lands yet undiscovered in the far reaches of the mysterious northern most point on our globe. Lands that can not be found today on any modern map or in any geography book. Yet lands which were observed and reported on by reputable, honest well-trained observant travelers and explorers in the early days of arctic exploration. These lands seemed to have disappeared shortly after the laws of scientific exploration and the explanation of findings were changed and around the same time when the ways in which knowledge is passed on from generation to generation was shanghaied by the new world order controllers.
~~~~~~
We haven't even mentioned other bonuses for whomever ends up in control of the arctic areas. The scientific and archeological treasures yet to be discovered will be tremendous. This being another area the controllers would rather keep to themselves. The Arctic, even today as we enter the 21st century, is without a doubt - excluding of course the ocean depths themselves - the most unexplored and unpopulated area of the world. Even today each new discovery made up there brings with it more questions that answers about the history of the arctic. For example according to a report from E! Science News posted on July 24, 2008:
Boiling Water Found in Frigid Arctic Sea
"Well inside the Arctic Circle, scientists have found vents of water more than twice as the boiling point rising out of the seafloor. . ." (Complete article).
"Well inside the Arctic Circle, scientists have found vents of water more than twice as the boiling point rising out of the seafloor. . ." (Complete article).
~~~
The 'land of mystery' is also an area rich with the earth's undisturbed archeology records. With the cold to preserve the quality any artifacts found in the arctic will be in superb condition. I predict the discovery of many wondrous things as man finally takes the time to explore the north polar regions within the next few years.
T-Rex of the Sea Found in the Arctic
The remains of a prehistoric reptile that was as long as a bus, with teeth larger than cucumbers. In a head that could swallow an adult human whole, have been discovered on the Norwegian Arctic islands of Svalbard. Svalbard lies about halfway between the Norwegian mainland and the North Pole. . . . (Extensive excellent article with illustrations etc).
In a head that could swallow an adult human whole, have been discovered on the Norwegian Arctic islands of Svalbard. Svalbard lies about halfway between the Norwegian mainland and the North Pole. . . . (Extensive excellent article with illustrations etc).
The sad part of it all is that the controllers will do everything in their power to keep you and I, the unwashed masses, out of the loop when it comes to discoveries and answers uncovered in these upcoming explorations.
As more and more of mother earth's treasures are uncovered and removed using modern technology; as new discoveries of science and archeological value are found; as long as there are riches like fossil fuels and diamonds finds, and with the Nowthwest Passage now a reality the rape of the Far North will continue to escalate. Where there is massave amounts of wealth to be gotten greed will follow. This greed will lead to wars for control over the source of the booty. . . .
What can we do about this rape of the far north? I'm afraid that all we can do once again is say . . .
God protect us from the Vikings! And keep a sharp lookout for the arrival of the long boats.
~~~~~~~~~
My fellow Insiders, it is with a sad heart that I have to say,
welcome to;
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
